Our initiatives:

  • Solar-powered operations:

    Our 55 solar panels produce more energy than we consume annually.

  • Green upgrades:

    We are exploring a heat pump, battery storage, and a geothermal well for eco-friendly heating and cooling.

  • 100% electric transport:

    All our company vehicles run on electricity.

  • Durable organizers:

    A Kalpa organizer cover can last for many years. In fact, many customers still use the same cover after 20 years. You only replace the paper refill each year. This reduces waste and makes Kalpa products a truly sustainable choice.

  • Sustainable paper sourcing:

    Since 2025, nearly all paper we purchase is FSC-certified. Older products are checked for origin where possible.

  • Waste reduction:

  1. 80% of our large cartons are reused.
  2. Small packages are wrapped in strong kraft paper, using around 85% less packaging.
  3. We use paper tape instead of plastic, making disposal easier and more eco-friendly.

  • Supplier ethics:

    We prefer working with small, trusted suppliers and maintain personal relationships with them. We are not certified with large sustainability labels these are often too costly for small businesses but we know our suppliers personally, visit them whenever possible, and always favor ethical sourcing.
