Kalpa Senior Organizer Flower Garden is covered in a deep embossed floral relief — full blooms, scrolling acanthus leaves and curling vines running edge to edge across both the front and back. The pattern is pressed properly into the cover rather than printed onto it, so the raised sections stand clear of the surface and the recessed background is finished with a fine stippled texture. Run a hand across it and you feel the whole design. The cover is made of artificial leather.
The finish is high-gloss black, which is what makes the pattern work. With no colour contrast to rely on, the design reads entirely through light: bright highlights along the raised scrollwork, deep shadow in the hollows. The effect shifts as you move it, and it photographs far better in person than any single image suggests.
