1311-88 Pocket organizer – snakeskin pattern, yellow and burgundy red

The Kalpa Pocket Organizer in snake print works in warm tones rather than the usual browns and greys — a cream and pale gold ground with fine scaling in coral, orange and deep red laid over it. The colour isn't uniform: it pools darker in places and lightens in others, the way a real skin would, which gives the cover movement and stops it reading as a flat repeat. A glossy lacquer over the top keeps the colours saturated and lets it wipe clean.

A polished gold Kalpa plaque sits in the lower corner. Gold is the right call here — silver would fight the warm palette, where gold settles into it.

Pocket size does the practical work. It slips into a handbag or coat pocket without adding bulk, so it actually gets carried rather than left on a desk.
